Sisterhood Director

Keri Wayman

" I was  saved at the age of 13 at a church lock in. At the time I had a fresh and exciting new faith but as I got older I had many struggles. As a young adult I quit going to church and really wrestled with my relationship with God, turning away from him and following my own plan instead of his. When my daughter was about 2 years old I realized that I needed to make a change. My husband and I started going to church and have not stopped since. That was about 17 years ago. It doesn't mean that I do not struggle anymore but now I am grounded in the word of God. Remember, the church is not perfect but it is a place for un-perfect people to learn about a perfect God that loves them passionately and wants so much for them then they can ever imagine."

"My family and I have been at Darwin for about 2 years. I help in all areas that I can. From tearing down sheet rock to helping with VBS. Currently I am the Sunday School Director."

"My favorite book from the Bible is Psalms. Psalms is a book of raw human emotion. I love to read it because it tells me that even people in the Bible, people that sometimes we think we're perfect, still had their struggles. They experienced fear, doubts and loneliness to name a few. They also battled with sin. David was an example of someone "after Gods own heart" that was far from perfect. But one thing about David was that he always repented and turned back to God. And guess what........... God was ALWAYS there ready to forgive."

"I have to admit I am a homebody. I love being at home with my family. If we are not at home you can probably catch us shopping or at the movies."
